For a good part of my July, all of August and a few weeks in September I was a’working on a lil’ film called Winter in the Blood, of which, Aloneinaforest  had a hand in getting off the ground. I worked in the costume department and delighted in all things western, old and dirty. During pre-production the belt sander and I were the best of friends. Lemme tell you, more than one tear came to my eye as literally ripped into multiple pairs of perfectly new Carhartt jeans! But this was a down and dusty picture, so we made it thus. I also got to hang out with some of the local flavor and made many new friends from Austin, New York, LA and everywhere in between. A labor of love, this baby is almost all the way out!
